Tim Salavejus – Chairman
Tim Salavejus grew up in a military family and traveled the world as a young man. this upbringing gave him a diverse look at many cultures. He would say hard work, love of country and God are the reasons for his success. He is a father of three extraordinary children and has been married to his beautiful bride for 29 years. He also calls Williamsburg his home. Tim holds a Business degree from Christopher Newport University as well as an MBA from Averett University. He is an entrepreneur at heart and has built and sold several successful businesses. Currently, he is the Regional VP of the BlueGrace Richmond office. Caring for others and giving back to the community are shared values that guide Tim’s life. This is why he has served on several nonprofit boards, giving business and leadership advice.
Becky Salavejus – Member
Becky Salavejus has dedicated much of her life to raising three children and supporting her husband in his business ventures. Currently, she is managing the operations at the BlueGrace Richmond office. Purchasing a small farm north of Williamsburg was a dream come true for Becky as she embraces the hard work of raising cattle, pigs, turkeys, and chickens. Becky enjoys extending hospitality by opening up her home to friends, family, foreign exchange students, and sometimes strangers. She has served as a dedicated member of the Covenant Christian School Board for three years.
Jeff Ammons -Co-Chairman
Jeff Ammons serves as the Valor Mission Director of Cru. He and his wife Kristen have served with Cru for over 23 years and have lived and served in Italy, Kazakhstan, Venezuela, and Virginia Tech. Currently living in Williamsburg, Jeff and Kristen have three children Joshua (16), Elizabeth (15), and Caleb (12). Jeff received his Masters in Divinity in Contemporary Ministry Leadership from Biblical Theological Seminary and is a graduate of Virginia Tech. Jeff and Kristen have led and directed teams of volunteers in North and South America, Central Asia, and Europe. Jeff loves meeting people from around the world and is always looking to practice his Spanish, Italian, or Russian.
Donna Lemley – Secretary
Donna Lemley has called Williamsburg her home for 25 years. She and her husband, Bruce Lemley, have been married 32 years, and they are proud parents of Michael (21) and Sarah (18). Donna is a proponent for Christian Education and has served in many volunteer capacities in local Christian schools. She has served on the Covenant Christian Board for three years; serving as Chairman and Secretary. Donna attends Foundations Church and she is involved in Bible Study Fellowship International as a Women’s Group Leader and is passionate about Women’s Ministry. Donna graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the College of William and Mary concentrating in Marketing.
Karen Plumley – Member
Karen Plumley is a longtime resident of Williamsburg, Virginia. She graduated from Lafayette High School in 1985 and Clemson University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an area of concentration in Marketing. Karen is the Office Manager for Virginia Peninsulas Public Service Authority (VPPSA). She and her husband, Deno, have one daughter, Naomi, who is a rising 6th grader at Covenant Christian School. The Plumley family are members of James River Baptist Church where Karen has been a Children’s Church teacher and is currently a Care Group leader, assisting members with personal or family needs. Karen has served two terms as a member of the Board of Directors for Child Development Resources (CDR), a provider of early intervention services for children aged 0-3 and their families throughout the Historic Triangle that have disabilities or delays in their development or are at risk of developmental delays due to such things as low family income or premature birth.
