Carolyn grew up in Knoxville, TN, and graduated from the University of Tennessee. She met and married her husband, Dennis, at her home church. Dennis and Carolyn have been in the pastoral ministry for 27 years and have served in churches in Mississippi, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. Carolyn’s husband, Dennis, is currently the lead pastor at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church. They have three children. Their married sons, Andrew(Stephenie) and Matthew(Lauren) reside in East Tennessee, and daughter, Rebekah a first-grade teacher in Lynchburg, VA. Throughout her adult life, Carolyn has held a variety of titles: stay at home mom, homeschool mom, reading intervention teacher, an elementary teacher, teaching first and second grade at a local Christian School. Carolyn enjoys spending time with her family, knitting, refinishing antiques, gardening, and walking around Colonial Williamsburg.
