Alice Chidzero, Form IV Teacher

Alice was born and raised in Zimbabwe. She is the youngest of nine children. She earned her Associates Degree in Elementary Education from Mkoba Teachers College in Zimbabwe majoring in education and English. She taught in elementary school in Zimbabwe for 10 years before coming to America where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Bible. Alice Chidzero graduated with honors and was recognized as the student of the year, for which she received a plaque. Alice has taught at schools in Zimbabwe, Rhode Island, Pretoria and Williamsburg. She has worked as a Christian Education Director for Global Outreach Missions and also for Williamsburg Assembly of God Church. Alice recently wrote a personal memoir, “When the Brook Runs Dry: My journey from Africa to America … and back again a few times, which chronicles her story of God’s faithfulness through times of loss. Alice is a mother of two adult children and three grandchildren. Alice recently became a USA citizen.
